History

IML, Inc., founded by Linda A. Davis, has provided microbiological quality assurance testing services since 1984.  Linda's experience working in both industrial and state laboratory facilities has been invaluable to the success of IML, Inc.  Linda has also served as chairman for the volunteer section for the Institute of Food Technologists.  All IML, Inc. technologists have received their bachelors of science degrees in biological sciences.  With our combined experience of 75 years, you as a customer can be assured both quality and care will be taken and your needs will be met!

• Certified by the State of Tennessee Department of Health for bacteriological testing of public potable drinking waters since 1995.
• AOAC International Member and quarterly participant in the proficiency testing program.
• DuPont Qualicon BAX PCR system for pathogen identification avaliable.
• IML, Inc. is on the approved laboratory lists for many national and international companies.
• Although no longer avaliable, IML, Inc. received USDA accreditation for Salmonella and Listeria testing of official meat and poultry samples in 1990.
